Journal #6:  *Left-Hand Side* Create 5 symbols that represent either characters, conflicts, or themes from your independent reading book. You will draw these symbols as a quilt, with each symbol drawn on a separate piece of fabric. *Right-Hand Side* Explain how each of your symbols represent specific aspects of the story. For each symbol, you should have ONE QUOTE that supports your symbol. Make sure to explain your quotes (AT LEAST 1 - 2 SENTENCES PER EXPLANATION). (DUE FRIDAY, 2/8/19)

Find 2 QUOTES that help you, as a reader, understand the tone of the chapter. EXPLAIN YOUR QUOTES.                           2. In a second paragraph, describe your mood, or what you feel / felt, as you are / were reading the chapter. Find 2 DIFFERENT QUOTES that show how the author’s choice of tone relates to your chosen mood. EXPLAIN YOUR QUOTES.
