In your Night packet, on the page titled "Characters - Family," list AT LEAST two families from the novel and explain how "knowing where family members are" or "not knowing where they are" affects the individuals within those families. (DUE TUESDAY)

Finish reading chapter 1 of Night (ends on page 23), and answer questions 1, 2, 4 and 5 on the homework worksheet (ignore the five figurative language questions). Also, there will be a reading quiz. (DUE TOMORROW)

A DAY, PERIOD 1: 1. Who do you think of (one person or multiple) when you think of a “hero?” They can be someone who is / was a hero to you, or it can be someone / people who are not specifically your heroes but heroes in general. What makes that person / those people heroes?   2. How would you compare the hero(es) you identified to Luba? Think about how they are similar, and also how they are different. (DUE MONDAY)
